remember this night
for it was a good one.
dane went to bed without an ounce of protest. he only came out to pee, to fake poop, to ask me to help him with his nightlight, and to ask me to help him find his baby chick. the baby chick which is LITerally as big as my thumb tip. i found it. no big deal.
and cassady was asleep after only a few meek cries.
